Decoration, theming and branding
It is best to think of marquee decoration as part of the overall look for an event. marquee's are flexible enough to carry classic styles, romantic styles, functional, modern, lavish... as well as many themed looks.

Lighting and furniture, carpet, linen, flowers, balloons and so on will help to create the required appearance.

Linings
afuturesound’s standard linings are pleated and ivory-coloured. They are an ideal backdrop for most styles. They can be set off with swags and roof swags (see below), as well as with lighting effects, and theming accessories.

Lighting effects
Lighting can produce some of the most exciting and creative marquee effects: subtle washes of colour, night skies, festoon lighting, spotlights for stage, tables, or focal points (such as ice sculptures). Clever use of lighting can really focus attention on a stage speaker, or create a fantastic atmosphere for a party.         

Swags:
Swags are available in a wide range of colours to suit the overall look of your event. Pink for a pretty wedding, red to warm up a winter party, white for an elegant corporate do and so on.

Roof swags
Another option is to drape overlays across the marquee roof, or hang 'drops' down the wall. This can either be a single overlay, where a single overlay and matching drop create a striking highlight; or overlays can be combined for a popular striped effect.

Black-out linings
marquee's can also be completely or partially “blacked out ”, typically in combination with a starlight ceiling. The effect is dramatic and fun, ideal for an evening party with plenty of dancing.

Flowers, balloons, theming
Although afuturesound does not stock these items, we are happy to take on the task of organizing supply, and then integrating them with all the other elements of marquee design, to create a unified impression that will suit your chosen look and feel.

Other equipment
Stages, podiums, portable toilets, tiered seating, dance floors, electrical generators for extra power etc are all available from afuturesound and will be effectively integrated into the overall marquee design.

Insurance
marquee's have to be insured whilst erected on your property. You can arrange this through your household insurance or alternatively we can arrange it for you.
